When new people show up at events, classes, and worship services, you can use Checkpoint to easily add newcomers' contact information to your ACS dataset. This helps you to follow up with visitors later, improve your outreach, and grow your organization over time.

Sometimes these new people are the immediate family of current members. In this case, see Adding Additional Family Members During Check-in. Other times, new people are not the immediate family of current members, just friends or more-distant relatives. In this case, see Adding New Families During Check-in. (See also Suggestions Regarding Visitors and Checkpoint.)
