Checkpoint Implementation Guide

Checkpoint is check-in/check-out software that provides your organization with the assurance that you can identify and confirm the location of children at any time, and especially in the case of an emergency. Parents check in their kids at a workstation (either a manned computer or an unmanned kiosk). Checkpoint handles the rest.

This guide can help your leadership and staff decide when and how to integrate Checkpoint for the first time. The guide can help you understand check-in systems, Checkpoint's features and capabilities, and how those features fit in with your larger safety and security plan.

Checkpoint is a very flexible program. We recommend that you design a check-in system and then use Checkpoint to implement that system. With that in mind, the sections Check-in Safety and Security and Designing a Check-in System cover generic check-in information.
