The My Preferences menu lets you hide or show the tab menu, to change your password, and to reset the auto login option. You can also set alternate row colors for the ACS grids.
You must have the proper security to make changes in or view My Preferences.
Reset Auto Login
Click to reset the auto login option.
Change Password
Click to change your password.
Show Tab Menu
Select to display the Tab menu. The Tab menu is the main menu for each module. If you select to hide the Tab menu, you can use the Modules menu on the menu bar, or customize the toolbar. This option only displays if you select Classic as your Menu Style.
Use Alternate Row Color
Click to use a color in alternate rows in the ACS grids. To select a color, click the down arrow. Select a color from the list and click OK. You can also define a custom color. You can use different alternate row colors in the People and Financial Suites. Alternate row colors are user-defined.
My Menu Style
Select Workbench to group options by task, or select Classic to group options by module.
Menu Style for New Users
- Workbench — Select if you want new ACS users to use the Workbench menu style. Options are grouped by task rather than by module.
- Classic — Select if you want new ACS users to to use the Classic menu style. Options are grouped by module rather than by task.
- Keep users from changing their menu style — Select to keep ACS users from changing their menu style between Classic and Workbench.
- Reset Menu Style for all existing users — Select to reset the menu style for all ACS users.
- One-Click Navigation for Drop Down items — If selected, when you select an item in a drop-down list, you go directly to its window.
Menu Save Option
Three save options are available:
- Use Defaults — Displays the first item in a drop-down list.
- Save Configuration when Menu closes — Saves the last items chosen when exiting and displays them after opening ACS again.
- Save Current Configuration — Saves the current configuration. If you exit ACS and then return, your saved options display.
