Problem

When adding the script for the Access ACS Online Calendar in the body of an Extend article, the HTML editor adds tables and formatting to create the calendar.

This duplicates the calendar and does not allow it to sync with other events.

Products affected: Extend

Versions affected: Any

Solution

If you add the script for the calendar in the article's Mini Abstract, then go to Custom Display and turn off all options except for the Mini Abstract, the Calendar displays correctly.

To change the calendar on the channel page
  1. Create a new article.
  2. In the Mini Abstract field, add the calendar script.
  3. Add a Title if needed, then save and approve the article.
  4. In Custom Display, remove all selections except for the Mini Abstract and display set to None. If the channel page needs a title, leave it selected.
  5. Under the content page's Display Options, clear all selections.
  6. Click Save.
