If you want to print to a Dymo® printer in OnDemand, you must first add the printer to your computer setup. To begin, connect the printer to your workstation, then, follow these instructions to set up the printer in OnDemand.

 

Windows PC

 To add a Dymo printer (Windows)
  1. Locate the Control Panel, then click Devices and Printers.
  2. Right-click on the Dymo printer and select Properties.
  3. On the General tab, select Printing Preferences.
  4. On the Layout tab, change the Orientation to Landscape.
  5. Click Advanced.
  6. Change the Paper Size to 30857 Badge Label or 30256 Shipping Label.
  7. Click OK > OK.
  8. On the Advanced tab, select Printing Defaults.
  9. On the Layout tab, change the Orientation to Landscape.

    Click Advanced.

  10. Change the Paper Size to 30857 Badge Label or 30256 Shipping Label.
  11. In the next three windows, click OK.
 To set up your Dymo printer in OnDemand (Windows)
  1. On the OnDemand main menu, double-click the OnDemand Printing icon.
  2. From the File menu, select Printers.
  3. Select Dymo Label Printer, then click Driver.
  4. Select Dymo LabelWriter 400, then click OK.
  5. With the Dymo Label Printer still selected, click Edit.
  6. Click the Layout tab.
  7. Under Orientation, select Landscape.
  8. Click Advanced.
  9. Under Paper Size, select the label number of the paper you have loaded in your Dymo printer, and click OK. In most cases, this is 30857 Badge Label or 30256 Shipping Label.
  10. To accept your print settings, click OK.

Mac

 To add a Dymo printer (Mac)
  1. In Applications or on the Dock, click System Preferences.
  2. Click Print & Scan.
  3. Select Dymo Label Printer.
  4. First, remove the printer from your list of available printers by clicking Remove , and then clicking OK. This is necessary so that you can add the printer again to ensure that it is connected properly.
  5. To add the Dymo printer, click Add , and select the Dymo Label Printer from the list of connected printers.
  6. From the Print Using drop-down list, click Select a driver to use.
  7. In the Finder search bar, enter Dymo.
  8. Select the Dymo Label Printer driver, and click Add.
  9. Make the Dymo label printer your default printer.
 To set up your Dymo printer in OnDemand (Mac)
  1. To open OnDemand, in Applications, double-click the OnDemand icon, or on the Dock, click the OnDemand icon.
  2. In the OnDemand window, double-click OnDemand Printing.
  3. On the File menu, select Printers and click Dymo Label Printer.
  4. Click Driver. Select Dymo LabelWriter 400.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Click Edit.
  7. Click the Layout tab.
  8. Under Orientation, select Landscape.
  9. Click Advanced.
  10. Under Paper Size, select the label number of the paper you have loaded in your Dymo printer, and click OK. In most cases, this is 30857 Badge Label or 30256 Shipping Label.
  11. To accept your print settings, click OK.
