After you create an event, you can add participants who plan to attend.

Useful Information

Alternatively, you can add an event to a personnel event list on the Personnel tab.

On the Personnel tab, click Events & Classes. You can add participants individually or add a group.

 To add a participant
  1. Locate the event you want to add a participant to.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Participants.
  3. Above the Participants grid, click the add icon .
  4. Enter or select the personnel you want to add to the event.
  5. Enter the number of people attending the event with the participant, including the participant.
  6. Select any applicable check boxes for the participant. See the Additional Field Information below for more on these options.
  7. Click Save.

The participant displays in the list. The event is automatically added to the participant's event list as well.
 

 To add a group of participants
  1. Locate the event you want to add a group of participants to.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Participants.
  3. Under the Participants grid, click Select a Group of Participants.
  4. Use the selection options to filter the group of participants you want to add to the event.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Review the list of participants. The Num column defaults to the number entered on the personnel's Event List window, but you can edit it, if needed.
  7. Click Finish to add the selected participants.
  8. If you already had participants in the Participants grid, you are prompted to either overwrite your current participants or add the new participants to the current grid.
  9. Select any applicable check boxes for each participant. See the Additional Field Information below for more on these options.
  10. Click Save.

 

After you add participants, you can view the total number of people attending. Locate the event record, and click Details in the navigation pane. The total number displays at the bottom.

  

Additional Field Information

Participant Options

  • Num. — Enter the number of people the participant is bringing to the event, plus the participant. For example, if the participant is attending with his or her spouse, enter 2. This defaults to the Default Number Attending on the personnel's Event List window.

Select one or more of these check boxes to indicate the participant's status for the event.

  • Reg. — This participant is registered to attend the event.
  • Att. — This participant has attended the event.
  • Pd. — This participant has paid for the event.
  • Exc. — This participant is excused from the event.

Load Personnel
Go to the Primary Information window for the selected personnel. After viewing the personnel information, click the Back button to return to the Event Participants window.
