With this process, you can remove multiple families from your database.

In the Families navigation pane, click Processes > Remove Families. Select whether to use automatic updating or individual entry.

 

 To remove families automatically

This process alters data. We recommend backing up your data before proceeding.

  1. Select the automatic updating method option, and click Next.
  2. Select whether to remove all families or to remove only those you select.

    Useful Information

    For help selecting families, see the Additional Selections tab on Select Records to Print.

  3. Select whether to include only active, only inactive, or both. Click Next.
  4. Review your list. To exclude any records from processing, clear the check box.
  5. When you're ready to remove the selected records, click Next.
  6. To remove the records, click Finish.
 To remove families individually

This process alters data. We recommend backing up your data before proceeding.

  1. Select the individual entry method option, and click Next.
  2. Select a family, and click Add Family to List. Repeat this for each family you want to remove. When you're finished, click Next.
  3. Review your list. To exclude any records from processing, clear the check box.
  4. When you're ready to remove the selected records, click Next.
  5. To remove the records, click Finish.
