Login, email address, and password are the most basic elements of your personal City account and are listed on the Account tab of the Account Settings page. To change these pieces of personal information, follow the steps below.

 

 To change your login
  1. From any City page, hover over  in the upper-right corner and select Account Settings.
  2. In the Login field, enter your desired login.
  3. Click Save Account.
 To change your password
  1. From any City page, hover over  in the upper-right corner and select Account Settings.
  2. In the New Password field, enter your desired password.
  3. In the Confirm Password field, enter that password again.
  4. Click Save Account.
 To change your email address
  1. From any City page, hover over  in the upper-right corner and select Account Settings.
  2. In the New Email field, enter the correct address.
  3. Then in the Confirm Email field, enter it again.
  4. Click Save Account.
  5. A confirmation email will be sent to the new address to verify the change. Click the provided link to confirm.

 

 

Things to Remember

  • Changing any of these fields alters your global City account, not just your profile on this particular City. That means if this account is an active user on more than one City instance, changing your login, password, or email on one will change that information on all Cities you're a part of.
  • Your password is something only you can change. No administrator has the authority to do this.
