The Financial menu houses all the tools a financial administrator needs for setting up and managing your City giving module. You'll find settings for online giving, an abundance of tools for entering and maintaining donation records, and a series of reporting tools to help you see the financial health of your church.

When selected, the Financial menu reveals a series of options that you can use for the various aspects of financial administration.

Settings: Control all settings related to online giving and other features that users interact with on the user's side of The City.

Donations: The Donations page gives you an instant view of all the donations that have been made to your church, one by one. Use the filter to seek those donations that were not added to a batch or fund.

Funds: Create and manage the various funds that your church accepts donations for. Fund names, tax-deduction status of each fund, and where the system directs online donations are all things you can govern from this page.

Batches: Use the features on this page to create your batches, add donation records, and post them.

Pledges: Create pledges for users or view their existing pledges.

Reports: Review your church's giving based on fund, batch, donor, or anything in between. You can even export all financial data for custom viewing with Microsoft Access.

Import: Import your church's funds, donors, and giving records from another application, so that you don't have to manage two different financial systems.

Things to Remember

Depending on what type of financial privileges you have, you are able to see at least some of these tools, but not necessarily all of them.
