The concept of friends in The City is a little different than in other social networks. Because The City is about building church community through groups, making friends is a secondary point of connection designed to help you stay in touch with people who may not be in your current groups.
In The City, making friends comes with benefits that enhance your City experience:
- Once you add someone as a friend, they can see your status updates in their news feed, and you can see theirs.
- You can allow your friends to see private contact information, like address and phone number, that others can’t see.
- You can also share posts with your friends.
Things to Remember
If you choose to Ignore the friendship request, this will place the person on the Ignore tab of the Friends page.
