Windows 

If you have a customer using Windows 8, 7, or Vista who needs to uninstall the OnDemand Client, follow these instructions.
 

Expand

  1. On the Windows desktop, click the Start button Image Removed Image Added in the lower-left corner of the screen. The Start screen displays.
  2. Click the arrow button Image RemovedImage Added. The Apps view displays.
  3. Click Control Panel.
  4. If your View by selection is set to Category, under Programs, select Uninstall a program, then select IDS Client and click Uninstall. If your View by selection is set to Large icons or Small icons, select Programs and Features, then select IDS Client and click Uninstall.
  5. When the confirmation message displays, click Yes.

  1. On the Microsoft Windows taskbar, click Start, then click Control Panel.
  2. On Windows 7® or Vista®,
    1. If your View by selection is set to Category, under Programs, select Uninstall a program, then select IDS Client and click Uninstall.
    2. If your View by selection is set to Large icons or Small icons, select Programs and Features, then select IDS Client and click Uninstall.
  3. When the confirmation message displays, click Yes.

 

Mac

If you have a customer using Mac who needs to uninstall the OnDemand Client, follow these instructions.

  1. Click the Go menu from the Finder, then select Applications.
  2. In Applications, select OnDemand.
  3. Drag the program to the Trash.

If you're helping a customer who is still using Windows XP and needs to uninstall the OnDemand Client, follow these directions and encourage them to upgrade their operating system.

  1. On the Microsoft Windows taskbar, click Start, then click Control Panel.
  2. On a Windows XP® operating system, select Add or Remove Programs, then select IDS Client and click Remove. When the confirmation message displays, click Yes.
  3. When the confirmation message displays, click Yes.
